New signings have been solid if unspectacular , the Towns difficult Geographical Position makes it difficult to attract the really big names .However its this very fa its that  but its not the big names that makes the Raiders the team they are but the impact from players from  them If there is one thing to be said for the Furness Penninsular is it it contains an abundance of riches when it come to the Amateur Game , with no less than 8 Clubs in the local area and Raiders Coach Paul Carey is not afraid of bringing players into his squad from a lower level of RL, The Toal Brothers , Brad Crellin and the Flying Luke Cresswell were all recruited locally

Away fans might be in for a shock as well after a trip up the A590 this season . The Raiders boyed by their COVID Summer Financial sucess have taken the bold step of removing the old decaying terrace areas of the ground to accomodate a permenant beer garden / seating area a la Lamport Stadium .Sadly for Keighley Followers our usual much anticpated  vist to Crazy it might come a little too early in the season to test out the new facilitiesbeing one of the first fixtures of the seasonand likley to fall under COVID crowd restrictions.

Predicted Finish – 2nd

‘Wish he played for us’ – Tee Ritson’s blazing pace ffrom either the wing of full back is on a good day,almost unstoppable .

Mr Dependable – A stalwart of Cumbrian Rugby League Prop Carl Forster is as tough as they come

Inbound Hero – Grand Final Winner Ben Harrison returns to his hometown club after a spell out of the Pro Game . The second row forward won theree Challenge Cup Winners Medals and made two grand final apperances in a ten year stint with the Warrington Wolves

The one that got away  – Vastly experienced hooker Shaun Lunt was due to join the Club for the 2021 season , however  the former Leeds , Hull Kr and Huddersfield Star has recently announced his retirement from the game with out playing a game for the Raiders.
